Global luxury real estate brand’s newest location will service growing markets in Spokane, WA and Coeur d’Alene, ID

Engel & Völkers today announced the opening of its newest real estate shop in the Americas, Engel & Völkers Spokane. The brokerage will be led by Alex Ganea, a seasoned local expert in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene markets with more than 15 years of experience, the past two of which have been spent leading his own independent brokerage, Discovery Real Estate Group. With 17 real estate advisors, the newly established Engel & Völkers Spokane will serve the markets of Spokane, Spokane Valley, Mead, Colbert, Deer Park, Liberty Lake, and Greenacres, and in Idaho, Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Sandpoint. The shop’s grand opening event was held on location on Thursday, February 21.

“The residential real estate markets in Spokane and surrounding areas are certainly ones to watch,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “Within close proximity to major metropolitan areas and the area’s renowned beauty and thriving outdoor lifestyle, overall demand is on the rise. Alex’s passion for client service and unparalleled knowledge of the local real estate market makes him and his team a natural fit for Engel & Völkers.”

The new shop will be located in the heart of downtown Spokane, serving buyers and sellers who are drawn to the area for its picturesque mountains, lakes, and rivers that facilitate some of the best hiking, skiing, boating, and fishing in the United States. While the area is known for its many high-end resorts and vacation homes, its economic merits also continue to develop. Spokane is also slated to be the location of a new Amazon distribution center opening this year and employing approximately 1,500 people.

“The market in Spokane is shifting, and a shifting market provides us with an amazing opportunity to reinforce and grow our brokerage as the leading experts in luxury real estate and bespoke client service,” said Ganea. “Engel & Völkers was the clear partner in this endeavor; their tools, systems, and global brand power represent the highest standards for quality and outstanding service. In our local market, our new identity as Engel & Völkers will naturally resonate with many property owners and investors in Spokane looking for the very best in concierge-level real estate service.”
